So,they decided to hitch a ride back home.... and when the people realize that our dude, his bro and the wife are back home...they thought, well, you know, at least they deserve something nice... and they didn't have any bars or clubs in those days... so they couldn't take them out for a drink, so they, like, decided to smoke and shit... and since they also had some lamps, they lit the lamps
also....so it was pretty cooool... you know with all those fireworks.... Really, they even had some local band play along with the fireworks... and you know, what, dude, that was the very first, no kidding.., thatwas the very first music-synchronized fireworks... you know, like the 4th of July stuff, but just, more cooler and stuff, you know. 1) Any time you see an E-Mail that says forward this on to '10' (or however many) of your friends, sign this petition, or you'll get bad luck, good luck, you'll see something funny on your screen after you send it, or whatever, it almost always has an E-Mail tracker program attached that tracks the cookies and E-Mails of those folks you forward to.

The host sender is getting a copy each time it gets forwarded and then is able to get lists of 'active' E-Mail addresses to use in SPAM E-Mails, or sell to other spammers. Even when you get emails that demand you send the email on if you're not ashamed of God/Jesus .....that's E-mail tracking and they're playing on our conscience. These people don't care how they get your email addresses - just as long as they get them. Also, emails that talk about a missing child or a child with an incurable disease - "how would you feel if that was your child"....E- mail Tracking!!!

Ignore them and don't participate!

2) Almost all E-Mails that ask you to add your name and forward on to others are similar to that mass letter years ago that asked people to send business cards to the little kid in Florida who wanted to break the Guinness Book of Records for the most cards. All it was, and all any of this type of E-Mail is, is a way to get names and 'cookie' tracking information for telemarketers and spammers - - to validate active E-Mail accounts for their own profitable purposes.

You can do your friends and family members a GREAT favor by sending this information to them; you will be providing a service to your friends, and will be rewarded by not getting thousands of spam E-Mails in the future!

If you have been sending out (FORWARDING) the above kinds of E-Mail, now you know why you get so much SPAM!

Do yourself a favor and STOP adding your name(s) to those types of listings regardless how inviting they might sound!...or make you feel guilty if you don't!...it' s all about getting email addresses - nothing more!

You may think you are supporting a GREAT cause, but you are NOT! Instead, you will be getting tons of junk mail later and very possibly a virus attached! Plus, you are helping the spammers get rich! Let's not make it easy for them!

Also: E-Mail petitions are NOT acceptable to White House, Congress or any other organization - i.e. social security, etc. To be acceptable, petitions must have a signed signature and full address of the person signing the petition, so this is a waste of time and you're just helping the Email trackers.

It’s like I have grown up watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S and its the best thing to do when u don’t have anything else to do. Nothing can make u feel time well spent :D.

I almost know all the episodes in all the 10 seasons and have opinions on each one of them (that its ROCKING :))

Yesterday I started with the first ever episode of the legendary sitcom series and was wondering how things have changed since the time when it was wasn’t even aired .. when there was no fan following or criticism(I don’t think it exists ) associated with this phenomenon

Deshdrohi is a phenomenon: A movie un-review

Every now and then there comes a movie that is so much more than moving images on a sheet of fabric - it’s a phenomenon. It’s a work of art that breaks all barriers and sets new standards of filmmaking. Its dialogs adorn the lexicons of the language of its times. It’s plot, characters jump out of the screen and reside in the memories of its audience like real incidents, real people. It can bring about change - in people’s beliefs, lifestyle, ambitions, imaginations, and in fact shape culture. It becomes a relic of our times.

When I look back at the 20 odd years of my life, The Matrix comes across as the foremost contender for such a phenomenon. Closer to home, it’s definitely DDLJ (before you throw bricks at me for saying this, try to see how DDLJ, more than any other film of our generation, has affected us).

Two days back, I came face to face with another such phenomenon - DESHDROHI. A magnum opus par excellence by Kamaal R Khan (KRK).

The bias media has done its best to ensure that the film is ridiculed by our people because the media makes its money from the SRKs and Aamirs and Kareenas. I’m sure that most of you, influenced by the bias media, decided to give the film a miss and are probably laughing at me for calling this film a phenomenon. But I have my reasons to call it so:

It’s a work of art that breaks all barriers and sets new standards of filmmaking

Deshdrohi, first of all, is an environment friendly film. It accomplishes its green mission by recycling 30 year old, largely defunct cameras to shoot the film, instead of using new ones. This is a first of its kind initiative and a lesson for all other filmmakers who ignore the environment. Tech garbage is fast becoming an environmental hazard.
Deshdrohi was made with complete safety of the crew in mind, something that has been often compromised in our industry. If any of you have seen any behind the scenes shoots, you must have seen those tracks and cranes for panning and zooming shots. Now they are extremely dangerous - the camera trolley may derail, or the cameraman may fall off the crane. To ensure the crew’s safety, the Deshdrohi team decided to forgo these risky setups, as evident from a scene where it’s clear from the shaking picture that the cameraman is on foot.
Deshdrohi cared about grooming our country’s future rather than relying on experts for everything. The random split second shots appearing out of nowhere and broken, incomplete scenes indicate that editing was done by a 5 year old playing with scissors for the first time. This is a welcome change for an industry that believes in just hiring the best people to make films. Hats off.
Deshdrohi dares to show reality. This reality is most glaring in the choreography. Instead of having unrealistic dance-steps no common man would ever do, the choreographers have chosen real life dance-steps straight out of the books of the lads who dance in front of a Hindu baraat. To his credit, KRK dances to these steps exceedingly well, a complete natural. Watch out Roshan boy!
Deshdrohi sets new benchmarks in acting and appropriate casting. KRK, not only looks the part of a 20 something college boy, he delivers a consistent performance throughout. His performance is consistent in that he handles a gamut of emotions - love, anger, friendship, disgust, guilt with the same expressionless face and monotonic delivery. Such a consistency is rare in today’s hype driven actors. He is more than ably supported by a stellar cast that includes Gracy Singh, Zulfikar Sayed, Hrishita Bhatt (marry me), and the Bhojpuri superstar Manoj Tiwari. Gracy Singh as the bike driving local goon; Zulfi as the hard-as-concrete, no-nonsense cop; Hrishita as the girl falling head over heals for KRK; and Manoj Tiwari as the city’s most feared sharpshooter fit their parts to the T and deliver a knock-out performance.
Deshdrohi takes action to a whole new level. I am sure it’ll do what The Matrix did for action in Hollywood. Manoj Tiwari’s athleticism deserves special mention. Watch him in that scene where he jumps in that pool to beat up a goon. The amount of water that splashes out of the pool is a testimony to the guy’s action skills. Even Gracy Singh surprises with some never-seen-before action sequences. Take her entry scene for example. Baddies are tormenting a pan-wala. Gracy Singh enters riding a motorbike, stops about 100 feat from the baddies, and throws her helmet at the baddy leader, pushing him about 10 feet back. Whoa! Real star, however, is KRK. Imagine this - KRK is hounded by baddies and one such baddy is at a distance, holding a gun. What does KRK do? Slide up to the baddy on his knees and puch him in the crotch. Breathtaking stuff!!
Deshdrohi, lastly, is a milestone in VFX technology. Two scenes deserve special mention. One is where Hrishita Bhatt confesses to KRK that she is truly madly deeply in love with him. Another one is where Gracy Singh’s aunt tells KRK that he is exactly like the prince charming she had been imagining for her dear niece. These scenes were, beyond doubt, filmed with Hrishita and the aunt in front of a green screen with KRK added in through VFX. It’s impossible to enact such a scene with seriousness otherwise.

Its dialogs would adorn the lexicons of the language of our time

If you’ve watched the trailers of Deshdrohi, you would have seen a glimpse of the pen magic at work in the film. Here are some dialogs from the film that are sure to make you stand up and applaud the wordsmiths responsible:

KRK, to a politician he is about to shoot - “Nathu Ram Godse ki kya majboori thi ki usne Gandhi ko maara? Koi nahin.. lekin main majboor hoon. Mujhe aapko maarna padega!”
KRK, introducing Gracy to a politician - “Yeh meri premika hai!”
Zulfi, insulting KRK upon the later’s request to free Gracy - “Tu Raja se bikhari ban gaya?” (KRK’s character’s name is Raja)
KRK, in response to the above - “Hey inspector, mera naam Raj Kumar Yadav hai, aur Yadav hamesha Raja hota hai, kabhi bikhari nahin hota!” (with all the reservation going on, the man has a point)
KRK, regretting killing a goon in self defence - “Main use maarne se pehle mar kyon nahin gaya?” (Erm, well you did have the choice!)
KRK returns home late after spending the night with friends at an item song. His grand-dad, Avtar Gill is wide awake. When KRK asks him why he hadn’t slept yet, Gill says - “Neend to aankhon ko aati hai beta. Jis ghar ka jawaan ladka raat raat bhar ghar na aaye, wahan aankhen to ghar ke bahar raah dekhti hain. Unme need kaise aayegi?”
Mukesh Tiwari has held Gracy hostage and has promised to release her if KRK kills the food minister. When KRK suspects that Tiwari may not keep his side of the promise, Tiwari assures KRK - “Main use jis kamre mein band karoonga, uski chaabi tumhare paas rahegi!” (Erm.. ok!)

Now these are just some of the gems that I remember. Trust me, there are many more. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself using them in real life.

It’s plot, characters jump out of the screen and reside in the memories of its audience like real incidents, real people

Deshdrohi is about a man Raja (played by KRK) from UP/Bihar who comes to Bombay accidently and is a subject of much humiliation at the hands of the Mumbaiites. He decides to take them on and later becomes a pawn at the hands of the corrupt politicians and the underworld, who are essentially the same thing. Eventually though, he cleans them up better than Lizol floor cleaner. He changes clothes at whim, even though he arrived in Mumbai sans luggage, money. He can walk into the food minister’s office with a gun under his plastered hand and he can breach high level security of the Vice Chief Minister of the state with a gun held in hand. He can get a whole police force to put their guns down and make a politician confess his crimes on national TV by threatening to blow everyone up by detonating a plastic bomb he is wearing on his belt. Now, how can these characters and situations not be real? How can Raja be fictitious?

It can bring about change - in people’s beliefs, lifestyle, ambitions, imaginations, and in fact shape culture

I don’t know about others but the film definitely changed me

KRK as the lead actor showed me that no dream is too small. If he can be a lead hero in a bollywood film, then I can become the captain of the Indian cricket team too - someday, someday. I had totally given up on this ambition of mine, but now I feel I can do it.
Hrishita Bhatt (again, I repeat, marry me) falling head over heals for KRK changed my belief that I cannot get a good looking, sane girl to ever love me. It also strengthened my belief that most good looking girls are retarded.
A couple of scenes in the film changed my belief that the brother-sister relationship is forever. I no longer see my sisters in the same light as before. Consider this - early in the film Gracy Singh’s brother gets shot in the chest. She leaves him for dead after some sob comments about sacrifice and runs away with KRK. Later in the film KRK gets shot, twice in the chest. Gracy somehow manages to find a pull-cart and carries KRK to the hospital. There he is saved by the doctors. Whoa.. sisters..!! My eves have been opened. This Rakhi wow for protection is a strictly one way affair.
Lastly, the film changed me at a philosophical level. For the last few days, I had been wasting a lot of time, spending away precious moments that I am going to regret on my deathbed. But I wasn’t realizing my mistake. After sitting through this film for two and a half hours, I realized that I was wasting time on absolutely trashy things. I now want to spend my time wisely. I can’t say exactly which part of the film gave me this realization. It was more like an epiphany after the film as I was riding back home.

So well, my friends, I hope I need no more arguments to prove that Deshdrohi is indeed a phenomenon. It has every characteristic that makes films phenomena. If you have not seen the film just because you are influenced by others, or because it is banned in your place, do the world a favor - go watch the film and be a part of this phenomenon. Years later, your children, grandchildren would envy us for having lived in a time this film was released, just like we envy those who lived when Elvis was alive or when Star Wars was made. You don’t want to be regretting then. You don’t want to tell them you did not see this film!! They’ll laugh at you, just like you were laughing at me earlier.

Week at the gym

Dear Diary,

For my birthday this year, my Husband (the dear) purchased a week of personal training at the local health club for me. Although I am still in great shape since being a high school football cheerleader 43 years ago, I decided it would be a good idea to go ahead and give it a try.

I called the club and made my reservations with a personal trainer named Christo, who identified himself as a 26-year-old aerobics instructor and model for athletic clothing and swim wear.
My husband seemed pleased with my enthusiasm to get started! The club encouraged me to keep a diary to chart my progress.

MONDAY:

Started my day at 6:00 a.m. Tough to get out of bed, but found it was well worth it when I arrived at the health club to find Christo waiting for me. He is something of a Greek god - with blond hair, dancing eyes and a dazzling white smile. Woo Hoo!!

Christo gave me a tour and showed me the machines. I enjoyed watching the skillful way in which he conducted his aerobics class after my workout today. Very inspiring!
Christo was encouraging as I did my sit-ups, although my gut was already aching from holding it in the whole time he was around. This is going to be a FANTASTIC week-!!

TUESDAY:

I drank a whole pot of coffee, but I finally made it out the door. Christo made me lie on my back and push a heavy iron bar into the air then he put weights on it! My legs were a little wobbly on the treadmill, but I made the full mile. His rewarding smile made it all worthwhile. I feel GREAT-!! It's a whole new life for me.

WEDNESDAY:

The only way I can brush my teeth is by laying the toothbrush on the counter and moving my mouth back and forth over it. I believe I have a hernia in both pectorals. Driving was OK as long as I didn't try to steer or stop. I parked on top of a GEO in the club parking lot.

Christo was impatient with me, insisting that my screams bothered other club members. His voice is a little too perky for that early in the morning and when he scolds, he gets this nasally whine that is VERY annoying.
My chest hurt when I got on the treadmill, so Christo put me on the stair monster. Why the hell would anyone invent a machine to simulate an activity rendered obsolete by elevators? Christo told me it would help me get in shape and enjoy life. He said some other crap too.

THURSDAY:

Asshole was waiting for me with his vampire-like teeth exposed as his thin, cruel lips were pulled back in a full snarl. I couldn't help being a half an hour late - it took me that long to tie my shoes.

He took me to work out with dumbbells. When he was not looking, I ran and hid in the restroom. He sent some skinny bitch to find me.
Then, as punishment, he put me on the rowing machine -- which I sank.

FRIDAY:

I hate that bastard Christo more than any human being has ever hated any other human being in the history of the world. Stupid, skinny, anemic,anorexic little aerobic instructor. If there was a part of my body I could move without unbearable pain, I would beat him with it.
Christo wanted me to work on my triceps. I don't have any triceps! And if you don't want dents in the floor, don't hand me the damn barbells or anything that weighs more than a sandwich.

The treadmill flung me off and I landed on a health and nutrition teacher. Why couldn't it have been someone softer, like the drama coach or the choir director?

SATURDAY:

Satan left a message on my answering machine in his grating, shrilly voice wondering why I did not show up today. Just hearing his voice made me want to smash the machine with my planner; however, I lacked the strength to even use the TV remote and ended up catching eleven straight hours of the Weather Channel.

SUNDAY:

I'm having the Church van pick me up for services today so I can go and thank GOD that this week is over. I will also pray that next year my husband will choose a gift for me that is fun -- like a root canal or a hysterectomy.

I still say if God had wanted me to bend over, he would have sprinkled the floor with diamonds!!!

We all probably grew up listening to these dialogues and found something amiss (for the good obvoiusly) when we didnt hear them in a 3 hour movie There were zillions doing the rounds but we‘ll pick a few lest we get drained.

1- Main tumhaare bacche ki maa banne wali hoon
Girls passed out all of a sudden or ran to the loo to puke. Then screamed to themselves saying ,‘nahin yeh nahi ho sakta‘. The mothers , on catching them puking questioned,‘ kahan mooh kala kar aayi hai karamjali? Kahan leke ghoomegi is paap ko? Pat came the reply from the impregnated girl,‘ma , yeh mera paap nahi, pyar hai...blah blah blah.
So please let the pyar bloom, we said.

2- Bhagwan ke liye mujhe chhodh do
Why did the girls wanted to be left to the gods? We‘re still wondering. Each time a villain pounced on them, they pledged ,‘bhagwan ke liye mujhe chhodh do. The villain aptly replied, ‘toh mera kya hoga rani?Main kahin mooh dikhane layak nahi rahoongi, the girl would carry on. Our Hema Malini took this to another level. In one film she said , ‘chhodh do mujhe , mere pati aa jayenge! The nation wondered with tongues in cheeks.
Then as defense, the girl would pull a knife out of an apple from the fruit basket and threaten to kill the villain saying, mere paas nahi aana varna, varna...and once the villain drew near, she would stab herself (someone with a lil bit more brain would instead stab the opposite party instead ).

3- Kutte, main tera khoon pee jaoonga
So as if water, tea and aerated drinks disappeared from the face of the earth. The hero was after the villain‘s blood.The savage act was in vogue. And when the heroes were unable to hunt down the ‘goonda‘ , they would yell their lungs out saying ,‘kameene agar maa ka doodh piya hai toh bahar aa‘. Whose milk would the villain drink otherwise? Please answer us.

4- Rakhee‘s eternal dialogues
The bells in the temple would swing violently each time she went up to the idol and begged for her dying son‘s life in the hospital.
She would take off,‘ Aaj tak maine tumse kuch nahi maanga bhagwan. Agar aaj tune mere bete ki jaan nahi bachai, toh mera tumse vishwas uth jayega!
Tum mere liye ek patthar ka tukda bankar reh jaoge‘. God was so scared, he quickly infused life into her dying son. She wiped her tears and galloped away.
Then in one film she literally held the bells and swung around like Tarzan did from tree to tree.
The Pandit ji was so worried, he asked, ‘kya hua Durga bahen? Ghantiyaan kyu baja rahi ho?
She gained composure and replied,‘ kyuki Pandit ji, ghantiyaan toh...bajane ke liye hi hoti hai na?
The guy passed out. So did we.
Her one liners:
a- Mere Karan Arjun aayenge, dharti ka seena cheer ke aayenge
b- Mere Ram Lakhan aayenge
c- Mere Shyam Ghanshyam aayenge

5- The accident prone Nirupa Roy
And who can forget Nirupa Roy utter the same line each time she gained consciousness after an accident?
Doctor saab, mujhe kuch dikhayi kyu nahi de raha hai ? Doctor saab, meri aankhon ki roshni? Followed by an emotional outburst. Melodrama began from there.

Wedding Bells for the Publicity Hogging Queen

I know it’s all a publicity stunt for the woman who has all sorts of cheap publicity stunts to her credits and lets all face it... she has become famous only due to it .

I don’t think the lady (or whoever he/she is) , whom I m talking about is unknown to anyone who watched some television .She s back from a long hiatus and this time she’s getting married on National television !!!

Yes a reality show where she’s going to do have a Swayamvar for herself !!!! When I first read about this , I assumed it’s a new concept and it’s just a contest where the winner will win a few things but hold your breath guys... she claims that she’s going to actually get married to this winner !!!! (is anyone participating ???? )

I am still not able to decipher if any of the men who participate if at all , are doing it for publicity or coz of their love for Miss Sawant ?

We all have witnessed how the love sick puppy Abhishek Awasthi (ex boyfriend of Miss Sawant) became pretty much a well known figure after Rakhee confessed her undying love on the biggest reality show on Indian television BIG BOSS 1 .She rose to fame and she thought it was a great platform for her to be seen in those garish outfits and loud makeup and be heard saying all the weirdest things (including her Divine connection with Ganpati Bappa and JESSUUS Christ)

Let me not torture the rakhee sawant fans any more by saying anything against her but below are the excerpts from her interview

The actress is ready with her new reality show, Rakhee Ka Swayamvara on NDTV Imagine, where men wishing to get married to Rakhee have to register

themselves with the show. (ONLY NDTV IMAGINE CAN IMAGINE SUCH STUFF)

It was my idea, so I approached them. I have become famous due to reality shows. (YES, ONLY YOU CAN MAKE YOUR WEDDING A REALITY SHOW . ARE YOU PAYING THE CHANNEL TO HOST THIS FOR YOU ???)

When I have become such a celebrity, why then should I have a quiet wedding? (AFTER ALL I HAVE NOT HAD A QUITE MOMENT EVEN IN THE LOO !!)

If Kareena Kapoor can set a trend of size zero, why can't I start a trend of swayamvar? (YEAH . HOPE YOU GET TO HOST THE SEASON 2 AND SO ON TOOO )

Healthy Filling Manchow Soup

The blogging bit has just started and i made sure i have something exciting to post today.
My mom used to make this kind of manchow soup with lots of veggies and pasta in it , so i thought of making the same .Its really nutritious and filling. Who says that healthy food cannot be tasty ? it can be .. provided its not deep fried and doesn't have ajinomoto in it :)

Do try this simple recipe and let me know.
PS: I haven't given exact measurements in any of the quantities since everything here is judgemental depending on how much qty of broth is made by you.

Thanks to Aditi first of all before i say anything about this recipe. I was supposed to be her guest blogger on her lovely Kitchen stories Blog (http://peepinmykitchen.blogspot.com) that has been inspiring me too for quite some time..

F.R.I.E.N.D.S

I love F.R.I.E.N.D.S :)

Well , the magic of F.R.I.E.N.D.S is such that U either love it or u don’t know about it.. u can never hate it !! :)

maybe I biased towards it coz I m such a big fan.. but I know all those who love it , feel the same for it. there is no way u can ever hate it (at least I m yet to meet one F.R.I.E.N.D.S - not a fan)

To start with.. the first episode of F.R.I.E.N.D.S that I ever saw was episode no 722 - the one with Chandler's dad .I think that first episode for me gave me some very good laughs n thats how my association with F.R.I.E.N.D.S began !! n I think every episode in F.R.I.E.N.D.S has given me something to smile about and some have given me some really big laughs :D

I don’t know what it is that makes me feel that they are real people. They are not just characters but I feel that these people actually exists and the chemistry between them is so endearing , that gives me such a Feel Good factor that I watch F.R.I.E.N.D.S every time I m low or depressed. Each of the 6 characters complement each other so well . that it would look incomplete without any one of them. n here it’s not just about the romantic angle, it’s the Monica- Rachel FriendShip and the Joey - Chandler camaraderie that is so realistic and non sugary .

I love the fact that no one of the 6 characters is a total white or a black character. they all are normal people just like us, I see some Rach , some Monica in me .I love Joey n sometimes Chandler for his cute mean laughs .

I am not too fond of Ross too much coz I find him a whiney and a love sick puppy .But some of my most favourite episodes are based on Ross. like the one with Ross' teeth , the one with Ross' sandwich , Ross' tan and the list goes on. he’s an amazing actor and only he can do that role.

I love Joey coz he’s Stupid yet adorable . How clichéd yet cherubic he looks when says his How u doin . his obsession for food reminds me of My own self :)

I am not fond of Chandler.. coz he’s busy in his own world :) probably I can’t identify with him.

I love Rachael coz she such Bitch yet doesn’t pretend she isn’t one. She cries at the drop of a hat but is a lovely gal who cares the most for her F.R.I.E.N.D.S

I love Monica coz of her obsessive compulsive cleanliness disorder. probably coz I can never be like her :) It comes out clearly in the episode The one with the Dirty gal.. where Ross describes them all about the gal's apartment and hence breaks off with her..But Monica goes to her in the middle of the night coz she can’t sleep thinking about the dirty house and goes to clean her apartment with her cleaning kit:)

I love Phoebe coz she’s MAD. Maybe she’s jus like me. So bohemian.. doesn’t have to think before doing anything all these are real people for me ..n I love them to death ;)

I had downloaded the Spanish episodes coz I couldn’t find the English ones :P n I used to watch it with scripts aside of every episode I m Crzzzyyyyyyyyyyyyyn then later I brought the English episodes officially :)

m sorry I don’t share these 10 DVDs each per season with anyone

Am too possessive and get scared if I have to share it with anyone !!!

Yes.. am reactivating my blogging skills once again.. not that I had any.. but I did create this account long back but hardly posted anything !!!some of my friends have been actively blogging thus motivating me to do the same :)I guess once u start.. blogging just is addictive !!

well I started this blog to post all my mindless , non productive gossip.. all that I feel , bitch about someone who doesn’t even matter to me in any way .. and stuff like that.but if I have to start with some topic.. I would rather choose a subject very close to my heart.. something which will be of concern to everybody in a few yrs time.. !!!don’t know if u have guessed it..well.. its Global Warming.. believe it or not.. It’s happening. and it’s affecting each one of us.. in a very big way !

I m not even getting into the technicalities and precautions and care that we should take .. coz I think the info is available in plenty and most of us know about it at the back of our minds. Some of us even take care of certain things.. but yet the initiative is minimal and by a select few !! This phenomenon is happening on a huge scale and care taken by a select percentage will hardly matter but well .. what bothers me is the attitude that of the Govt of India.. there are no policies in place to take care of this huge phenomenon and we are facing the heat of it already (Pun intended)

I have thought about it and I feel absolutely helpless that the Govt can’t take some simple measures to insure people minimize the use of petrol and plastics .

simple rules like
1- plastic is not free.. at least not the rate at which people throw it or use it or get it free with those loads of shopping that is done in super markets or local sabziwala.We are paying a huge price for it !!why is plastic bag given free in the first place.
even the shopkeepers provide plastic bags as if they are earning a commission by getting rid of those bags !!let people realize the value of it when they go to a sabziwala and bring their own bag or shell out a nominal amount of 10 Rs per bag. only the genuine ones who don’t have anything will pay for it. The remaining would carry something from their homes in order to avoid spending 10 rs for a 5 rs shopping !!let the money earned in this process be used for something !isn’t it such a cost effective yet a strong policy that will take care of millions of plastic bags thrown in bins everyday !

2- coming back to Fuel .. the rates keep toggling between expensive to very expensive.Yet there are loads of people who continue to use it even when its verrry expensive. What about those who use it when they can commute through alternate means.. obviously which is eco friendly .there are loads of people who use their cars for commuting .. does it even occur to them how much fuel they are burning. Instead cant they car pool ?taking 4 more co-travelers with u reduces the carbon emission by 4 times !!!isn’t that a good number by not having to even compromise on your car travel ?there is car pooling available even in Mumbai.. but wonder how many people know about it. .and worst how many use it !if Govt makes some policy where in people traveling single will be fined.. automatically people will start taking such things more seriously .the Govt also has to make sure that there is good public transport available for the upper middle class who wouldn’t otherwise prefer travelling in crowded buses and trains.. by paying a slightly higher price . Lighter on pockets too and the Govt also makes money.

Who is losing anything anyways !!Well i think this is the simplest i can think of without having to give up anything. Its just a matter of altering yourselves

The other day.. a strange guy with dark glasses along a female familiar face with a totally out of shape body caught my attention in some movie trailer called DESHDROHI

Lookig closely.. i realised thats a Gracy Singh who has worked in movies like Lagaan and Armaan .. what was she thinking when she did this one..

God help her

And looking at the dialogues, acting, and the so called lead actror of the movie .. Kamal R Khan (KRK is wt he calls himself..probabably he has given that shortform jus like SRK maybe). . this movie would be the funniest serious film of the century..

am sure ,.that Mr. KRK is the director , producer, dialogue writer , screenplay writer, costume designer .. since no sane person would agree doing this atleast after looking at the promos
